Personally, I’d much rather hear an oddly-intoned human voice than a nondescript, anodyne robot.
An oddly intoned voice would be in keeping with the original. The voice acting was B-movie bad and hilarious.
Hope this doesn’t go down the route of Microsoft seeing the demand that exists and sending cease and desists without bothering to make a decent rerelease.
