Technically not an owl, but you get to see that little fella I found anyways. It was just hanging around my place for a day and then disappeared again.

It hangs out in small flocks in the treetops, foraging mainly for fruit. Distinguishing males from females isn’t too difficult: Females lack pink necks and are mostly olive-green in color!
Kindly meet the “Perentie” ( Varanus giganteus ) monitor lizard, the fourth-largest lizard in the world. This magnificent beast may also be called a “Goanna”, I believe.
