ATLDOT: What transportation upgrade would most improve your life?Josh GreenMon, 09/14/2026 - 09:50Atlanta’s transportation authority is building out a blueprint to enhance connectedness and work toward traffic solutions. And they want your 2 cents. Atlanta Department of Transportation officials have recently launched an “online engagement hub” that asks which upgrades to transit, bike pathways, and other infrastructure would most improve life in the city.  The input will help shape ATLDOT’s Comprehensive Transportation Plan, which is expected to guide “every major decision from expanded sidewalk coverage to new transit connections and bike lanes” over the next 15 years, per officials. The results are set to be discussed at an upcoming open house. Our test-run of the CTP questionnaire section took about five minutes. A map-pinning section that allows Atlantans to pinpoint exactly where they’d like to see improvements had more than 240 contributions as of this writing. Elsewhere, a “fund-it exercise” gives users a make-believe, $100-million city budget and asks how that funding would best be spent.
